CHOFFIN CAREER & TECHNICAL CENTER CELEBRATES
NATIONAL CAREER AND TECHNICAL MONTH

Students and faculty in the 30+ career and technical education programs at Choffin Career and Technical Center is celebrating National Career and Technical Education month! Among the special activities scheduled is a Team Choffin kickoff celebration on February 5th from 9:45-10:45AM. The theme of the month-long celebration, "Invest in Your Future”, emphasizes the role career tech education and its business/industry partners play in helping youths and adults achieve career success.
According to the Association for Career and Technical Education, research shows that many of the country’s fastest-growing occupations require the technical skills taught in career tech education programs. Research also shows that among high school graduates entering the workforce, those with a technical education background earn more than those without this advantage.
